Modinakhe Fortress got the category of national importance. The fortress consists of two parts: the lower and upper fortresses. It had only one entrance from the east which could be reached by the stairs carved in rocks. There were three and four-storey towers. As a result of archeological excavations, there were identified ancient ceramic products, floor remains, etc.
