Zendidi Fortress is located in the village of Zendidi, Keda municipality. The exact day of its construction is unknown. It has got the cultural heritage status

Turmanidze’s folk family - In Keda, particularly in Merisi, there is the family of Turmanidze who is famous all around the world. They have won a lot of festivals. For instance, in 2016, in the Folklore National Festival, they gained the title of laureate in the “family” nomination. Three generations present family on the stage. The eldest member is 97 years old and he actively gives the lessons in folklore to Georgian and foreigner guests. They have visitors from different countries: Canada, Britain, France, etc. The family introduces the Georgian culture and Merisian folklore.
