Khulo is a small town in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. Also, it is the administrative center of Khulo. Its old name was “Khula” which means trading house. Khulo has an ancient history. Right here, one of the apostles of Christ, Andrew the first-called, preached Christianity, particularly, in Didachara. It is located 923m above the sea level. Choreographic Ensemble "Bermukha"
Khulo cable car- length is 1719 m, height - 280m. It is the second in Europe by its length and height.
Skhalta monastery is in the village of Kinchauri, Khulo municipality. It belongs to the XII century.

Purtio Bridge belongs to the medieval period. In 2006 it was granted the category of immovable monuments of culture of national importance.
Ensemble "Bermukha" - Choreographic Ensemble "Bermukha" was established in 1981. It consists of 13 members. It is noteworthy that the eldest member is 95 years old, and the youngest is 63. The name was chosen according to their age. The ensemble has had a lot of success, they were the winners of many folk festivals and almost all members were awarded with the honorary rank of laureate several times. The most important fact is that all the dancers are self-taught and their dances are the synthesis of the tradition and culture of the different villages of Khulo.
