55 million GEL will be spent on the beach protection and restoration of the coastal zone in Batumi. The project is implemented with the support of the Asian Development Bank. The chairman of the government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Tornike Rizhvadze and the Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund have observed ongoing works. The project includes the arrangement of 12 pedestrian bridges, restoration of the coastline, boulevard rehabilitation and so forth.
