Abastumani is a climate-balneological resort which is located in Samtskhe-Javakheti region. Its territory is covered with coniferous forest. Its climate is an ideal way of treating pulmonary disease. Spring season is very useful, as pine-trees start pollination, yellow dust gets into lungs and positively influences on it. Besides the climate, hyperthermal, slightly mineralized springs treat various kinds of diseases. (There are Gveli, Goliati and Suravandi springs.)
